Why hello! It’s us, back at it again with the blog. Previously, we wrote a post all about bottom lashes, and you guys seemed to love that, so here we are again with a post – but this time we’re talking all about half and three-quarter lashes. We’re not going to mess about, instead we’re just going to dive right in – we hope you love it!
It’s been said that half lashes, and their close cousins, three-quarter lashes, are a great way to dip your toe (or, your eye?) into the world of falsies. And that’s totally true, but that’s not all they’re good for. The right half or three-quarter lash has the power to completely transform a look, a little volume here, a little length there – and voila, a stunning look!
Additional benefits include; the ability to achieve luxurious length and added volume with *too* much drama and versatility (going from day to night, or night to day 😉 has never been easier!)
Traditionally, these lashes are worn on the outer corner of the eye, adding more of subtle finish, compared to that of a traditional, fuller strip lash. They’re flattering on all eye shapes, are super easy to apply and add a little something-something to a look without overpowering it.
Pro tip: If you have a fave pair of falsies that are maybe getting a little tired, or that you feel are a little too full, then you can totally trim them to a half or three-quarter length and BAM you’ll have a brand new pair of lashes. (Be careful to always err on the side of caution though, it’s better to trim too little than too much!)
Why not let us tell you a little more about our lashes?
Peek-a-Boo lashes are going to have you looking as cute and playful as the phrase itself.
These lashes are a super lightweight natural half-lash and they give your eyes just the perfect amount of the playful-and-pretty vibe you crave. Being as lightweight as they are, they’re super easy to apply and super subtle to wear. They’re the perfect lash for a beginner to get started with.
Ever hear about that girl that was such a tease that no one wanted to hang out with her anymore? Neither have we. These lashes will certainly give you that look – you know, the one where you know exactly what you’re doing and having a blast doing it.
Tease Lashes are a playful half-lash that adds volume and length in all the places. Since they’re a lighter lash, they’re super comfortable and another great option for someone to get into wearing lashes.
Ahh to be a Lady. A self discipline and desire for constant refinement to become the woman we truly wish to be. Just jokes, no thanks.
Lady lashes may not prompt refined conversation or help you with your table manners, but they will be essential to completing your elegant, put together makeup look. They subtly highlight your eyes, making them look naturally bigger while giving you a captivating look.
Our Lady lashes are a band width false lash that feature wispy clusters to give you an elegant and understated look. They also flare out at the outer corner and are perfect for someone looking for a less dramatic touch.
It turns out that people love to tease! Who knew? Tease became one of our best selling lashes, and it’s certainly one of our favourites to wear too. With that in mind, we decided to mix it up and introduce: Tease 2.0.
Tease 2.0 has a longer band than the original Tease lashes, making it closer to a three-quarter lash. The lashes add volume and length from the middle of your eye to the outer corner, making your eyes appear elongated and cat-like. However, they’re still lightweight and comfortable to wear (just like the originals), making them another fantastic option for when you want some eye drama without a full strip lash.
We weren’t sure if we should put a warning on these lashes that read “WARNING: MAY CAUSE WHIPLASH ARISING FROM SECOND GLANCES.” Then we realised it’s not your problem – it’s everyone around you who needs to be concerned! We can recommend them a really great chiropractor?
These lashes are actually a shorter, nearly half-length version our most popular lash, Minx 2.0. Our Whiplash style is ideal for adding that extra flare to the outer corner of your eyelashes. Because Whiplash is a narrower lash, they are also perfect for almond shape or smaller eyes without overwhelming.
So, if you’re in the market for a more subtle look but still want to pop on a lash, or you want to create more of a gradient effect, why not try a pair of half or three-quarter lashes? And if you do, be sure to tag us on socials!
